We’re thrilled to announce that Hopper HQ now supports scheduling for Bluesky! 🦋 Here's how to connect your Bluesky account to Hopper HQ and start scheduling your posts seamlessly.
Bluesky uses a unique authorization process that requires generating an app password. Follow the steps below to get your account connected.
If you want to connect multiple Bluesky accounts, open Bluesky in a new browser tab and make sure you're logged into the specific account you'd like to connect.
1. Press the + Add Account button to connect a new account and select Bluesky.
2. Enter your Bluesky handle.
3. Generate an App Password in Bluesky
Click the App Password link and you'll be redirected to your Bluesky account.
In your Bluesky settings, click the Add App Password button.
Add “Hopper HQ” as the app name (or use the automatically suggested name).
💡 Note: You do not need to grant access to your direct messages. Simply uncheck the box if prompted.
Once the password is generated, click the two overlapping boxes next to the password to copy it.
4. Return to Hopper HQ and paste the copied password into the Bluesky App Password.
5. Click Connect Bluesky.
