At Hopper HQ, we understand the importance of preserving image quality for your social media posts. This article will guide you on how to ensure your pictures are not compromised during the publishing process.

Hopper HQ's Image Resizing

To comply with Instagram's maximum dimensions (find out more about these here), Hopper HQ automatically resizes larger images. Images that exceed 1080 pixels on their longest side will be compressed down to 1080 pixels to meet Instagram's requirements.

Uploading Images for Optimal Quality

To maintain the best possible image quality, we recommend uploading files that are already sized at 1080 pixels on their longest side. By doing so, you can prevent any stretching or distortion that may occur when the post is uploaded to Instagram. This ensures greater control over the image quality and reduces the risk of any automatic changes affecting your pictures.

Sending Us the Original File for Investigation

If you have followed the recommended steps and are still experiencing issues with image quality, our support team is here to assist you. Please send us the original file of the media item in question, and our team will investigate further to determine the cause of the pixelation or quality loss.

Of course, if you have any questions just let us know! 😊
