At Hopper HQ, we know how important it is to maintain your image quality for social media posts. Here’s how to ensure your images look sharp and professional throughout the publishing process.

📏 Image Resizing on Hopper HQ

To comply with Instagram’s requirements, Hopper HQ automatically resizes images that are larger than 1080 pixels on their longest side. These larger images are compressed down to 1080 pixels to meet Instagram’s size limitations, ensuring your content fits perfectly on the platform.

Recommended Upload Dimensions

💡 Tip: Upload images already sized at 1080 pixels on the longest side for optimal quality. This avoids any stretching, distortion, or unnecessary compression, allowing you to maintain full control over your image’s appearance.

🖼️ File Types and Formats

To make sure your images upload correctly and retain their quality, Hopper HQ supports the following file types:

  • JPEG

  • JPG

  • PNG

  • GIF

  • BMP

📐 Crop and Aspect Ratios

Hopper HQ supports various image orientations including square, landscape, and portrait. We also provide preset crop frames to help align your images perfectly with Instagram's aspect ratio guidelines, so your posts are always in line with platform standards. 😊
