Instagram account or Facebook page not available to tick in the Facebook connect window when connecting or refreshing account?

Sometimes your Instagram account or Facebook page will not show in the Facebook Connect pop-up workflow. Fear not!

2. If your account is still not appearing in the Facebook pop-up?

If you have another Instagram account on your Hopper HQ

  1. Head to a different fully connected Instagram accounts on your Hopper HQ account and click 'Refresh connection' button under Autopost Connection.

  2. In the Facebook pop-up, please ensure you press 'Edit settings', not 'Continue as [name]'. In this flow please ensure all IG accounts, Facebook pages and permissions are selected.

If you have a Facebook Page connected to your Hopper HQ

  1. Head to the Facebook Pages' Account Settings in Hopper HQ

  2. Click 'Refresh Connection'

  3. In the Facebook pop-up, please ensure you press 'Edit settings', not 'Continue as [name]'. In this flow please ensure all IG accounts, Facebook pages and permissions are selected.

Sometimes you won't have the 'edit setting' option in this workflow. We've got a handy workaround for you!

Let's check that Facebook is giving permission to Hopper HQ to access the account(s).

  1. Please open this Facebook link.

  2. Press 'View and edit' next to Hopper HQ

  3. Ensure that for each permission all the Instagram accounts and Facebook pages are ticked.

  4. Once done, please head back to Hopper HQ and try reconnect the account.

If your account is still not appearing on the Facebook connect window, please contact support.
