To take advantage Instagram autoposting with Hopper HQ, it's important to connect your Instagram account to a Facebook Page. Here's a simple guide to help you get started:

πŸ’‘ Before we get going the three steps to enable Instagram autoposting are:

  1. Your Instagram account must be a business or creator profile.

  2. Your Instagram account must be connected to a Facebook Page, of which you have admin privileges.

  3. You must confirm this connection in Hopper HQ.

Option 1: In the Instagram App while Converting to a Business or Creator Profile

  1. Open the Instagram app and go to your profile.

  2. Tap the three horizontal lines in the top right corner.

  3. Tap βš™οΈ 'Settings and privacy'.

  4. Tap 'Account type and tools'.

  5. Tap 'Switch to a professional account' and follow the workflow that introduces the benefits of Professional accounts.

  6. Select the category of your Instagram account from the list and tap Done.

  7. Check the Business or Creator box and tap Next.

  8. Review your contact info and tap Next.

  9. Connect to Facebook or connect to your Facebook Page. If you don't have a Facebook Page, tap the 'Create a Page' link to set one up easily within the Instagram app.

    (You can also connect to a Facebook page on your Instagram profile page. Tap Edit Profile and click Page under Public business information.)

  10. Once done, head back to Hopper HQ and follow the instructions to set up autoposting!

Option 2: In the Instagram App for Existing Business Profiles

  1. Open the Instagram app and go to your profile page.

  2. Tap "Edit Profile."

  3. Under Public business information, tap "Page."

  4. Follow the instructions to connect or create a Facebook Page for your Instagram account.

Option 3: In the Facebook App

Classic Facebook Pages:

  1. Open your Facebook Page.

  2. Select "Settings" from the left menu.

  3. Choose "Instagram" from the options.

  4. Click "Connect Account" and follow the prompts to log in to your Instagram account.

New Page Experience:

  1. Open your Facebook Page with New Page Experience.

  2. Click "Meta Business Suite" in the left-hand sound bar.

  3. Select "Page Settings" (if not shown, click "Edit" and add "Page Settings").

  4. Click "Linked Accounts" and connect your Instagram account.

  5. Here you'll be able to connect an Instagram account.

E - Am I the correct role on my Facebook page?

F - Does the Instagram and Facebook connection require a review?
