Introduction
When connecting your Instagram account to Hopper HQ, there are two levels of connection: Instagram connection and Autopost Connection.
In this article, we'll guide you through the process of setting up Autopost Connection, which allows Hopper HQ to publish your Instagram posts automatically.
Instagram Connection
The first level of connection is the basic Instagram Connection.
This level enables Hopper HQ to retrieve your account information from Instagram but does not support autoposting.
If you schedule a post with only Instagram Connection, it will be published using either email or push notifications.
Autopost Connection
To enable autoposting on Instagram, you'll need to establish the Autopost Connection.
This requires two essential criteria:
Your Instagram account must be a business profile
Your Instagram account must be connected to a Facebook Page

How to set up Autopost Connection โจ
Once your Instagram account is a Business profile and connected to a Facebook page, please confirm this connection in Hopper HQ:
Go to your Hopper HQ Account Settings for the Instagram account you recently connected.
Under Autopost connection, click the 'Connect via Facebook' or 'Refresh Connection' button.
In the Facebook pop-up window, click 'Edit Settings' instead of continuing as the currently logged-in user (disable ad-blocker if no popup is shown).
Select all the Instagram business accounts you want to connect with Hopper HQ (including previous and future accounts), then click 'Next'.
Select all the Facebook Pages you want to connect with Hopper HQ (including previous and future pages), then click 'Next'.
Confirm the permissions by clicking 'Done'.
Return to your Hopper HQ dashboard, and you should see the newly connected profile available for reconnection.

Troubleshooting
If this isn't working for you, please try these troubleshooting steps:
Disconnect your Instagram account from your Facebook Page. Once done, reconnect!
On the Instagram mobile app:
Head to Instagram mobile app
Tap into your Profile
Tap Edit Settings
Tap Page
Disconnect Page
On Facebook.com:
Head to your Facebook Page
Click Settings
Click Instagram
Click Disconnect
On Facebook.com New Page Experience:
Open your Facebook page with New Page Experience
Click Meta Business Suite
In the left hand sound bar click Page Settings. If Page Settings is not shown, click Edit and add Page Settings.
Click Linked Accounts
Disconnect the Instagram account
Reconnect your Instagram account and Facebook Page using the instructions provided here: "How to Connect my Instagram Account to my Facebook Page."
